Dear massood ji,
I am in great problem. Me and my wife undergo the medical examination on 9th March 2004 . my wife is pregnant and the baby is due on 25th August 2004 as per doctor. I asked Airline they will not allow pregnant lady to travel after 7th month pregnancy. So she can travel with me till 25th June 2004 only.
I do not know how much the time CHC will take to issue visa after medical But my have only 3 ½ month to accompany me. Once baby born here, I have to follow the whole process for dependant baby and it will take a lot of time.
So please tell me what I should do to speed up the process. Shell I submit my passport with CHC Delhi with a letter explaining the entire situation right now or I should wait. I will be deeply thankful if anyone tell me some clue…

1) Is it possible that CHC release Visa to principal applicant and they hold my wife visa because of pregnancy?
2) I asked my medical officer he said our medical reports are ok according to them. Pls suggest me weather it’s ok to deposit my passport with CHC without asking them because I have already deposit all the other things except passport.

I guess you have little bit hurried making your wife pregnant!!!!All you have to do is wait till CHC requests your passports to be sent..CHC do not worry about individual cases...all we have to do is just wait and pray..let things happen..all r for good..dont worry if you cant take your wife with you to Canada..bcos..you first land in Canada try finding some job (you will land in a good one in less than 6 months) then sponsor your wife..by this way you can avoid your wife and kid suffering with you initially in Canada..am I right? take care..bye

U r right but the thing is that CHC will not issue visa to aa single person. If i am right either they will give visa to both of us or nither of us and delayed us till the dilivary....

There was another person called tiwana123 who has also received his visa and wife is pregnant (last trimester). He had contacted the airlines and was told that his wife would be allowed to travel till the last month. I think he had enquired with Air Canada.
Maybe you could contact him for details. He has posted here before (I think in jan'04) and is very helpful in giving his details. You could search for him in charcha.
