It is my pleasure to be on this website. I have come across numerous articles related to people either struggling or got success in their respective field with getting reference from fellow desi's on this website. I must congratulate the Canadian desi website readers and writers to provide detail insight to new immigrants.
I came to Canada in July 07 and worked there for one year till August 2008. Meanwhile i got a good opportunity back home in India and joined the company as Senior System/Network Administrator. Now I am being pressurised by my family and friends to not to waste my PR so I am planning to go back to Canada by Apr, 2011.
Presently, I am getting around 52K a month and have acquired good knowledge and certifications in MCITP, CCNA and Red hat Linux and may be looking for VMware in coming months.
My question is what is the job scenario going on IT job market specially System administration and Networks. I have gone through different job portals where mostly agencies have posted the jobs. I tried in 10-15 different job positions in one month time but i have not received a single response.
Is it advisable for me to come back to Canada and not to waste my PR or should i stick to my job. I am really in confused state of mind because if I’ll come back and won't get a job things would be really difficult for me.
Looking forward for advice from all the senior members of Canadian desi.

52K is a low salary for a IT person in India. BUt then having said that you are a network administrator which is a down trodden position in Canada (esp. to desi immigrants). There are no jobs for network administrators in Canada (as per my experience). I donot know in what job you worked in 2007 and the salary that you got in 2007, but is safe to assume that you will get similar job / salary as IT is in boom (moderate) these days.
Coming to Canada will enable you to get Cdn. passport and then you can rule the world. The mandatory residential time to be spent in Canada is obselete once you get the passport.
Choose wisely.

That is what people told me when I came to Canada (incl. my dad).
BTW, I am in a dead beat job and soon in 2011, I will need to have a visa to enter UAE (Same as Indian passport holder). Owning to owning Cdn. Passport, I was banned from entering Libya.

Your observation are right. This is all misconception of many people that Canadian Passport will increase your Salary in ME. Your salary is dependent on Your Education ,........,....... ( Passport specially for Naturalized Citizens comes last in that order.)

I give my sincere thanks to Maharaj for opening up the floor and really appreciate the response from tamilkuravan.
The inflation in India is getting the toll and 52K is quite less (I fully agree) and I am still living in rented accomodation and buying a house/flat has become distant dream. I must agree that Canadian passport can open many avenues in near future.
As you have asked....
From 2007 till 2008 I worked in Futureshop as Computer Technician getting around 14$ per hour and I was only A+ certified. When i came back to India i acquired good amount of knowledge in Cisco, ASA, Blade servers, Linux and VMware virtualisation in production enviornment and recieved certifications as well.
Since, you have mentioned in your post that no network/system admin jobs are avialble for desi's then what is the best possible way to go ahead.
Looking forward for suggestions from my senior friends.
