Did anyone watch the show via live streaming on the internet.

I did so. We lost the streaming for about 45 mins around 10pm. besides the frame was freezing every 20 secs or so. After about 11:30pm the quality of streaming was excellent, not a single freezing till the end.

Overall the quality of the show was not that great, comapred to some of the other one's that I've seen.

We did watch it on Rogers Pay Per View from start till end. I agree with Mr. Singh as it looked a little lackluster in comparison to previous year awards. May be the reason was that most of the stars such as Hritik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kareen Kapoor and some other big names were missing OR the other awards we watched on TV were the edited versions and an edited version always looks much better as there is continuity.

In any case we enjoyed the award and family time together.

Questions on IIFA:

1.Dr.Bikram Lamba and associates went on hunger strike to help fellow Desi's who have been hit by high gas and insurance costs in Ontario.

The premier McGuinty did not bother to respond and even stopped access to the restrooms on Queens Park.

What does he do he give CAD 14 Million to the IIFA and hugs, kisses and stops for photo-op with Desi stars in the IIFA.

The latest poll shows that he is going to be DEFEATED big time in October provincial polls.

Hope that his lost priorities would teach him a lesson.

2.When everybody else including the recent MMV's had RED carpet why did the IIFA have GREEN carpet?.

May be with the Akhtars and Khans they want to show the GREEN power in TO to the world.

3.Sonakshi Sinha remarked that she wants to move to TO based on the love she received. Hope she does and experiences the real life and reports it back to the DESI's in Desiland through her dad Shotgun Sinha.

4.Anushka Sharma was detained in Mumbai airport with INR 45 Lakhs worth of gold, diamonds and cash on recent 3 day trip to TO. That is equivalent to CAD 100,000 in 3 days with an earning of CAD 33,000 per day.
I've been here for nearly a decade and I cannot make the same amount she made in a day in an YEAR.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Am I missing something ?.

What you are missing is common sense!!!!! Anushka was here in Canada for an event, so surely she would be carrying some jewellery for at least 3-4 events. And if you have have any idea what diamond jewellery costs, you should be able to figure this one out. In any case most of these starlets get these dresses and jewellery loaned by jewellers as this is the best advertisement for them.

This is just a case of some overzealous custom officer trying to set his "rate" in Mumbai.
