The issue now is and in future would be a political one. This is a test run – probing how far secular people, law enforcement, news media, politicians and school board would tolerate them, This would, then form blue print of their future actions. Their strategy is multi pronged. A section would espouse in name of accommodation and other would mount a legal challenge and yet another a political challenge. They already control a few seats in GTA area and also a few in all major cities. I do not think any political party has enough guts to take them head on. They are already victorious based on endorsement by TDSB and no political party has come out against the prayers in school. First round has gone to them. In a few years, say 10, this country would resemble India where Islamist decide who governs.

I guess the best course is students from other ethnic groups start making similar religious requests for accommodating and allowing them to pray during school hours.

with one arrow 2 birds will be shoot.

1. Other faith students will be learning their own faith.
2. TDSB will start seeing this as problem by accommodating request for prayer time at different time by different faith students thus will either allow everyone or deny all and ultimately change the charter of Rights act.

It is silly to think that one learns faith by prayers. These are rituals which has no value and is non-sense invented in past to keep the flock together. If prayer, faith and observing religious rituals were to help, Pakistan would have been most prosperous state on this earth.

TDSB has no power to change the charter of rights. Get your facts correct.
