Did anyone read A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry....another classic!

Also, just wanted to know if anyone read Siddhartha, by Hermon Hesse? I heard it's supposed to be brilliant but can't get a copy of it from my local bookshop.

Thanks, guys,

Ummm, I am assuming you are guys!!

Anyway, I will read the book and let you know what i think...I actually heard about the book when watching an interview on Oprah Winfrey. She was interviewing Russel Crowe (who I used to think was a smarmy, arrogant idiot) But, after watching the interview I was really impressed with him! He had actually brought the book, including a few others, with him on the show and told the audience that it was one of his all time fave books to read! Anyway, I was intrigued and have been trying to get a copy eversince.

By the way, there was a good movie made on the book by the same title with Shashi Kapoor and Simi Grewal.

Or the Toronto Public Library. They have 33 copies of the book, they have the movie in VHS and DVD format and a audio tape. Now thats a world class library.

I have only 2 cents to contribute, not a cent more, not a cent less ;-)
