It does not matter Rohington rohinton as long as you get the crux of the thread.

Why are we discussing the semantics of the word.

I expected some serious discussion from readers about his books and other indian authors in general but all i got wa stwo guys discussing an extra "g"

WOW way to go indians

Well this thread is on Rohinton mistry but while talking of books i would like to recommend another author.
since many of us have our hearts in india and since many threads revolve around discusions on india ...i'd really recommend India2020 by APJ Kalam.....it shows the great future of india from a poor man's eyes who happens to be our president.

Its available on amazon .... If you want to experience patriotic goosebumps :D ...then read it and share your thoughts.

I found all the reasons in that book which would explain why 2nd or 3rd generations from today would wait to migrate to india.

Read it and be proud to be an indian.

North, you dont get it when things are told to you once ..do you.

for that very reason ...read the book i mentioned , you will figure out for yourself when and how the slums will be gone.

No Mishtar India i will not stop repeating what i like to tell everone . Because all that the people in Canadian Desi are discussing is reurning to india. so i like to remind them about the reality in India. And it would be to naive to think on your part any one elses part that all these things will disappear in 2 generatins and your Grande Children will go back to India where evryone has a Per Capita income of 20,000 $ as compared to Todays 2,000 $.

It will take atleast 50 to Hundred years that means atleast 5 generations before India becomes Soney ki Lanka. Till that time hold on to your horses here and relax.

Also i dont understand you guys . ou do not like to encorage people to discuss and post there views i gues you guys have some sort of monopoly.

I just see the same one dozen people replying to messages and posting new messages.
