Need Help: How can I book my open ticket to confirm ticket

Hi,

My Aunt is in Toronto. And she has open ticket from Toronto to Ahmedabad in Air Canada and Air India.

1. How can I get confirm ticket from Toronto to Ahmedabad?

2. Should I have to ask to Agent?

3. Should I have to contact to Air Canada and Air India Office?

4. If any one has experience then guides me on this.

Call up the airline that has issued the ticket.
