If you are so worried about your kids asking questions, try translating "Shakuntal" or "Meghdootam" to your kids without getting embarassed.

Do you think talking at .. or quoting is better than explaining? Parents should not feel embarrased. Your job is to TEACH ur child. That includes not so fun topics like sex.

Sorry.

By "You", I do not mean any particular person or the author of this message. I mean, any parent, who is worried about their children learning about sex. My apologies, if you felt offended.

Thanks for the advise MR. By the way, do you have children of minor age? If yes, are you teaching them about sex?

If not, don't try it on others' children.

Have a nice day!

I dont have children.. yet.
However if and when I do, they will be given age appropriate information.

I'd rather they feel comfortable talking to me about it..then hiding things from me. This is my opinion.

I do not have kids yet. But If I have a kid, I would feel comfortable if my kid whether it is a boy or girl approach me to talk or ask questions about things he or she is curious about. If we ignore their questions, they would seek other alternatives which might not always be correct.

I have seen several cases where parents are too strict about dating and kids end up dating without the parent’s knowledge. Is this good? Of course not. It is better you know your kid's activities so you can mold your kid and advise accordingly.
