Hello Expert,

I am currently in Canada on study permit expiring almost end of next year. My wife filed for a visitor visa last week in new delhi and got rejection. Reason is as follow:

you have not satisfied me that u meet the requirements of regulation 179, that you would leave canada at the end of the temporary period if u were authorised to stay. in reaching this decision i considered your ties to ur country of residence/ citizenship balanced a'gst factors which might motivate u to stay in canada

u have not satisfied me that u would leave canada at the end of ur stay as a temporary resident. in reaching this decision, i considered several factors including
1) ur travel history
2) purpose of visit
3) ur personal assets & financial status
4) i am not satisfied that u have sufficient funds including income or
assets to carry out ur stated purpose in going to canada or
to maintain urself while in canada and to effect ur depature.

1) Now I am wondering till what time she have to wait to file her visitor visa once again?

2) And what are the chances of getting the visa?

3) Can she use the same paperwork what she used during the last time. I mean financial docs. which are almost 1-2 months old dated?

Please help me out. Thank you for your time.

Try to find at least a time table, I think that every Uni gives that to their students, when the semester starts and when it ends.
Also when the next semester resumes.
Have a cover letter attached with those documents, explaining that she is on holidays and has to return back to uni. & send it along with your visa application.

Get every documents that proves that she is still a student, either enrollment form, or this like that, to prove that she has already enrolled for the next semester.

Ciao

I wonder, even if i try to get more and more documents from her college stating that she is studying and will return back to india, how am i going to show her personal assets & financial status and prove that she have her very own sufficient funds/assets?

That's not possible as she is student and never worked in her life. What me, my parents and her parents can do is to show more funds as we are her sponsors, but it will not be possible for us to show just her personal assets & financial status as I guess that what visa officer is expecting.

We can show some amount in her bank a/c but not everything can be her own. Correct me if I am wrong. What should I do for that reason what visa offier gave to her, which you can find in my first post for finance/assets?

Thanks!!

Talk to an "immigration or Visa Consultant"in india. They will guide you about what paperwork and documents are to be submitted. Being in the trade, they know what is required.

My suggestion is never to hire an agent. We did that and her visa got rejected because the agent did the mistakes.

So far I got 5 extensions in Canada and it was always worked out without agent.
