Driving to Canada by own car

Hi All,

I'm seeking opinions of all of you guys regarding driving own car while crosing the canada border. I am planning to visit canada this chirstmis by driving own car which is registered in US. I am a canadain PR and owning a US registered car, will there be any issues or problems while crossing the border with this car

1) Do immigration peoples checks that somebody PR of canada driving owned US car.

Your advise will be appreciated.

You need to tell that you will be visiting only for couple of days and should have valid US visa .I crossed twice in last 3 months and never faced any problem.And second thing avoid taking too much luggage otherwise POE officers might be suspecious

Thanks for the reply ani, one more question for you, which border you crossed going to canada. B'coz I am in east coast and I am gonna hit Niagara Falls border , will it make any difference..
