Hello, I am a Canadian citizen and have been in US for the past 6 years or so. I came here on an F-1 student visa, have applied for H-1 and awaiting some reply from USCIS. I will be going to India in Dec (2006) to get married.
Does anyone know on what basis I can call my wife here (Canada or US)? I have been studying in US for the past 6 years, so I have not been living in Canada.
Any responses are appreciated.

You can bring your spouse to US on a dependant visa (F2 or H4).
Not sure about Canada as you probably have to commit moving to Canada if spousal sponsorship is approved (other members can throw some light on Canada)
