I fully agree with Chandresh since i M now forcefully staying here just because of my children, otherwise I have no problem in going back to india.
Canada is more corrupted than india and i have reasons and experience to believe it.
Unfortunately I will be not in Meeting on jan 10, but I would certainle like to discuss the matter with Sujata to know and to inform "why" from both angles.
But to cut it short, i have no arguments with comments of Chandresh and I have full of info for sujata to prove the facts with stastics published by stats canada, government agency.

My Dear Senior Desis,

I have been thinking and analysing the factual point of view of Chandresh, Jake3d, GG,Sujata, Blue & junior desi Happyji and Vishal.

I am also a prospective immigrant for Canada, a Junior Desi and really moved by the group's discussions on becoming successfully settled and living a comfortable life in Canada... which is what I feel is one of the most trivial issues \"To live a good quality Life\".

I want to have advise from Senior Desis and request them to express relating to own experience, which I feel would add to another dimension which we have not looked so far..(Looked probably, but not discussed here…) :

Background to the question :

After sharing with the view of our desi friends, Now, to a large extent we know that our experience, qualification and success have given us a reasonably stable and to some guys, even a quite a comfortable position. And now, we have to give up everything to start a new life..very right..and accepted.—The Price must be paid….

Can we not become successful again ???, Can we not Hit another Century in the second Inning of our Life...

Here, I would also like to discuss and put across my views and would be very happy if senior desis give their opinion about it…

- When we started our 1st Innings, in India..i.e. after we graduated from Universities, I think everybody had a vision that they wanted to reach to some level in couple of years of life...and talking about the sucess, we had to strive for it..and it did not come cheap....Yes, it is also true that somebody scored a hundred and somebody got lost....but what we ( All - The Stars and Losers) gained is the most relevant thing called experience of life...not just of profession....We even have to make sure that our Marriage's succeeds and we learn to handle / adapt / compromise things to achieve our goals even to make our marriage a success...Please do not take this personally.

Chandresh : Can I ask you, Did you not Succeed in your First Move from India to Singapore…..Please don’t mind asking you this question because I can understand how hard is for you to compare both situations…Yes, I also know that Canada is not Singapore…

My second point of view is such that why are we afraid to take risks…Here I am not referring to “Suicide” where in you know that the death is assured…but yes, It is tough game…but in order to win we must know the rules and “loop holes “ of the environment.

Weren’t we told before, - “ That life is not a piece of Cake “…Yet, (we had to see that we don’t spoil it and turn this into a piece of “Shit” either) when we started our careers in India and experienced as well that even living a comfortable life back home is equally difficult either….Which I am sure many of the Prospective Immigrants have already overcome and reached to a good position….

What I really can gather from the discussion, that we must work the Japanese way..70% Planning and 30% execution, Identify realistic Issues, problems and find their solutions…so that the things could move as guided / planned or at least with the least level of difficulties compared to, our senior desis…and I must acknowledge the True Service offered by “Canadian Desis” whom I have already expressed my feelings in opening post just after joining…are one of the most wonderful group of people…I have experienced in this CRUEL WORLD

Here I would like to also add, that even at back home – How many are blessed with the Golden / Silver spoon…and How many of us are entrusted and financially supported by our so called “ Rishteydars” ( Relatives ) (to come up in life , from them) (Here, I am not referring to exceptions…) who are already quite well of…and are a part of less than 2% of the population…

So Guys, we have Build our life ourselves…..and face the real challenge…..I am closing this thread by saying

“ GIRTEY HAIN SAVAR HI MAIDAN E JUNG MEIN….WOH KYA GIRIENGE JO GHUTNO KE BAL CHALTE HAIN”

regards

Amit

I am hunting for a suitable place in Delhi, before I commit anything here. How many people are we expecting?

I absolutely agree with Vishal. But when we have an option to choose from bad and worst, I would choose BAD i.e. Canada.

Whatever points you mentioned in your list, are does exist in this country but at the same time we know that we have problems in India too. After your landing if get yourself a job ( within your own profession) within six month, you can stay in Canada and if not it would be a good idea to go back and start from the point where you left in India. Because if you don’t have a proper job, life is like a hell regardless your country of residence.

Thanks and regards
Biomed
