Hi Desi Members,
Could you please tell me the most probable passing location for the G License in and around GTA.
I have a G2 license but no car, so no real long time professional driving experience on the highways. I am using driving school car to practice for the G road test.

Loser Two because could not get H1B. So next option "Immigration to Canada".
Any place where there is comparatively less traffic I guess would be a good location like for eg:-oshawa or any place away from GTA as you do not have a lot of exposure to driving on highways .
Thanks Regar,
My instructor is advising me to take G road test at Kitchener, or Guleph. But his charges for these locations $180.00....+$75 exam fee.............................I am trying to take the G road test at Brampton or Eglinton. Any advise on these loactions are most welcome from the desi members.

I guess all of them charge about 175$ for these faraway places from GTA as almost half day is lost in wages for them.
Brampton is a busy area and some people say pass rate is not very high ....the truth god knows ..
bye
I know a couple of guys who got their G license in first attempt from Guleph , they are relatively new in Canada with little or no experience of driving here . So this could be a safe bet for you.
Good Luck

Dear CDs.
Expenses apart, I think we should feel responsible. Please think how 'responsible' will be an inexperienced driver, eventhough he has easily acquired the 'G2/G' license by whatever way/location...wouldnt it be more helpful in the long term to acquire the necessary skills to absolutely pass the test on 'merit' instead of looking for an 'easy' route to achieve a 'goal'...if your driving is good, you will pass at ANY location irrespective of the examiner.
Just my opinion, may not go down well with many CDs, but wanted to chip in anyways...please think twice before you decide.
*peace*

Hchheda,
I agree with you regarding the responsibility of the drivers on the Road, but The driving instructors have less ethics or no etics on their business. Their sole motto is making money.................not teaching properly to new drivers.
Every year about 200,000 immigrants are landing in Canada assume 50 % of the immigrants are taking driving lessons and paying $ 400 to $500..............see the amount of business to Govt of Canada and to driving schools.
