Applying for USA Visitor's visa

Hi,
I have appointment with US consulate on 24Jan for US visitor visa. Does anyone know if I get the visa, how many days will it take to get stamp or paper work on the passprt to be able to actually goto US

It takes 5 business days after approval of visa, as per the US consulate website. http://www.amcits.com/toronto.asp

Usually, you are asked to pay for the courier or bring a self addressed prepaid envelop. The Visas are mailed the same day as your interview and the actual delivery time will depend on the mode you select. I had an interview on friday and received the visa on monday via FEDEX.

The next day (generally after 3:30pm) in person at the counter. you have to bring the token(receipt) and proof of identity.

I applied in Vancouver, got the passport back with the stamp same day after 3 PM

Do they allow translators/relatives to accompany the person at the counter who can't speak english!
