MC------LOOKS LIKE SHE HAD ABORTION THREE TIMES---useless MC ----only plus point--WAIST 22 inches

JAYA BACHCHAN----Time for her to take care of grand children--Global warming is not her cup of tea.

Ritesh Deshmukh----Trying to come out of his father's shoes. Good attempt from him. By the time his Dad loses the elections--he will be a star.Much appreciated for Marathi numbers

Priety Zinta----Time for her to concentrate on cricket instead of bollywood. Was appreciated in kashmiri dress for her kashmiri FOLK SONG --BHUMBRO BHUMBRO SHAM RANG BHUMBRO from Misision Kashmir

Aishwarya Rai----Was appreciated more in her traditional indian dresses than western outfits and classical dances ( Dole Baje Dole Baje Dol-----) and Kajra re kajrare were a hit.

Abhishek------Lacks his fathers Charishma.Body movement not as graceful as his father.Good effort by him.

Amitabh----Sang six of his old songs--some of his old dialogues from old movies---poetry -----dances were a hit with the crowd. No doubt he is still the best in bollywood

Akshaya kumar---Has a huge fan following in Toronto.Sings well and has a good sense of humour and carries the audience with him. Absolutely marvellous.

Vishal and Shekhar---good music---carried the crowd with them for their latest hit ----Om Shanti Om All Cool Boys Comon Make Some Noise N Say Om Shanti Om

Star rating of the show----2.5 on a scale of 5 and in case the ticket prices were half the present prices,I wud have rated 3 on a scale of 5

P.S ---Thanks to all those who came to gate 4 for samosas. Hope u liked samosas

By the way was that true they were selling ticket (unsold one) $30 at the gate as per Ethnic Guru. Well i wished to go but hubby was working and unable to go. No doubt Amitabh is a super hero. I will watched on DVD.

The hall was 50% at capacity. 50% at capacity of the reduced seating. Again, how do I know because my friends attended the show.

So the 2 million you have made "net" as per your estimation, I find that a bit of an overestimation considering the lagging ticket sales and the exhorbitant costs for putting such an event together. It just doesn't add up. Oh yeah and don't forget your "greedy sponsors" that you mentioned.

Maybe you made most of your money by the $800 meet /greet scam.

You should save the "$2million" you have greedily pocketed for your legal fees. I'm sure you will be very busy with that post show.


Hopefully some lessons were learned here for the Vancouver show.


Congrats to all who did attend the show. Keep the reviews coming. Again as I've said before, nothing against the actual show, just the shady activities of the promoters who brought the show here.

just checked ticket prices for the vancouver show and it STARTS at $99.00 (2 dollars more than here!)

well my friends there will NOT be going...;-)

still i have not heard from anyone - Is that true as per Ethnic Guru that they sold remaining ticket at $30 (at the gate)- Is that true or another trap, pls let me know.

For all those who went to the show, I hope you enjoyed it.

I just came across this article in the Star and it said there were tickets for $1000 as well. Never heard about those on this forum. I liked Amitabh's response to "unaffordable" tickets. However, who will bell the cat? Means, how do we get to his room to see the dance.

By the way, I do like Amitabh and feel he is very versatile. His son has been improving and clicks with Rani Mukherjee more than anyone else on the screen(my opinion). Aish, though beautiful looks very artificial in her acting and very 'plastic perfect' on the screen.
