Muskoka Museum
Algonquin, where exactly to go..meaning which entrance? apart from hiking what else to do? can we rent boats?
Muskoka, looks like the boat tours have not started, any scenic places here...
thanks a lot!
Regarding Algonquin, I feel it may be too early in the season for it.
It is best during the fall season because of the colors, but summers are great too because of camping, boating, hiking, etc.
I haven't been there this early in the spring and it's possible that it may be too cold and the hiking trails may be still wet, soft and slushy.
Your call.
As for the entrance, I would say go through the main entrance along the highway.
That still gives you access to many hiking trails, etc.
Since you are not camping, there's no point going thru the other entrances.
You should be able to rent boats but give them a call first.
Have fun!
