Dear Sir,
My sister & brother in law become PR of Canada 2 year back. They only visited canada at that time for week. Did relevant documents work and came back.. Both have received the PR cards. Now after 2 years they are planning to move to canada from india permanently. I understand by 2/5 rule both can move to canada within next one year.
Now, they are blessed with baby recently in India. Now the question on how to get travel documents for the baby to go along with them.
Can they apply for Baby PR status from delhi & then go as family , or you will guide that let my brother-in law first move alone to canada and then apply for PR for baby to come to Canada along with mother.
We have apprehensions that since for last 2 years they only have gone to canada for just one week, the officer in Delhi Canadian embassy might not issue the necessary travel documents for baby .
Looking for guidance from your side
regards

Hello,
I was in similar situation. Your brother-in-law has to either apply for PR for the child from Canada (Pls check the documents you need to apply this. I am sure it may be not be so simple)
Alternatively, he can apply temporary residence visa (visit visa) from India. I applied for my son's visa yesterday from Abu Dhabi. You need all documents which will ensure that you are now going permanently.
The documents I submitted are;
a) Cargo Bill of Lading
b) Copy of Resignation letter from my current job
c) Copy of Acceptance letter for my resignation
d) Copy of Final settlement from current job
e) Copy of one way ticket upto Toronto.
f) Copy of cancelled visa (this may not be applicable to you)
Hope this helps.
Cheers
I am not sure how TRV would help you, in this case you are entring Canada permanently and your son with a Visa, isnt your son supposed to leave before his visa expires?
