I was watching Oprah this evening reg happiest people. It's said that Danish are the happiest people. If one loses the job, they will get support from the govt for 4 yrs. Fee health, free education, etc. Maternity leave for a year with 90% of the salary. Taxes are high though. But there is lot of return from the govt. One thrid of the people use bicycle for transportation. They dont care much abt religion, follow their passion reg what they want to do in their life. They showed one month old babies in a pram outside without parents. Such safety. One of the Danish lady rightly said, less space (at home), less stuff (less consumerism), more life.

Hope this isn't like Michael Moore style presentation as a friend of mine who was Norwegian citizen expressed sheer dissatisfaction of their life in Norway after being a citizen with much secured atmosphere from their Govt.

Trust me, too secured isn't really good.. A very different thought though but it is true from my experience.

Its just my view point.. But it is very very true that the life was much more pleasant with simple life...
