Have been looking at their services off late and seems pretty good..wonder what the catch is..
I am toying with the idea of going ahead with Bell to save some $$$.
Bell signal for TV is with a dish installed on the rooftop or in the backyard.
How is cable service via dish as compared to presently via cable (with Rogers)?

Thanx Pratickm for your comments.
Savings, I am based as follow; Presently paying about 110 to Rogers for cable (basic plus 2 Indi) and medium speed internet. 27 to Bell for phone. Total 137.
Bell asking 96 for all above similars. I am having all these services since landed. So contract or no contract makes no difference except when any new company will be allowed to suck the blood.
Some compro on signal quality during bad weathers is acceptable to save 40 bucks a month.
Am I right in totality?
Ben
Yeah with the bundle discounts it should work out for you.
Only catch with bundle discounts is that you have to sign contracts.

I am getting High speed lite (25 GB cap), HDPVR with basic cable and home phone with 2 features free - for same $96.00 (taxes included) from Rogers. In my experience the quality of signal and internet is better with Rogers as compared to Bell. I might switch my home phone to VOIP soon, that will save me $40.00 (approx). The contract is only for TV and Internet for 1 year.
Will shop around after that. Not a very great deal, but can live with it for 1 year.

Hi Hiren;
Thanx for sharing.
Does this 96 $ includes any Desi channel?. Because Rogers is asking additional 25 $ for ATN and SONY.
I hear Roger people were giving thiese kind of good deals when they were introducing their home phone service in the market. No more now.
You said, switching home phone to VOiP will save 40 $; Are you paying more than 40 for home phone with Rogers now?
I know, will have to go for (2 years) contract and some comro on quality as well.
Getting desparate to know soon as wish to decide soon.
Ben
