Quote:The rating is based on user reviews and not just on speed.
Also, why Bell (your service provider) rating is less than Rogers (hchheda) though Bell speed is better. I am just trying to understand.
Quote:You must have a "lite" speed internet.
I have Telus (in BC - DSL High Speed) and this link is showing only 1.45 Mb/s, Uploading 0.59 Mb/s and ping is 96ms.
Quote:That may be an issue, depending on the type of wireless and its speed.
I am connected by wireless modem on this laptop (if it matters).

Thanks Pratick.
I have High Speed (not lite but Telus also have enhanced high speed since last 2-3 years). I am ok with the speed (sometimes it is slow) but I just do basic surfing not much downloads. I don't have any issue in playing basic games online or watching you tube video (even no issue in playing you tube video on Wii). I think Telus claim 5Mb/s speed for high speed connection.
I guess my wireless connection is an issue as it disconnect many times in a day for few seconds/minutes.
bell has dual pricing... one rate for 12 months and higher after. Rates are similar to Rogers.
Our only different option will be a third provider.
I have checked Bell which has variable performance, hidden charges etc.
And after reading reports about phone service of Comwave, I do not want to change from Rogers eventhough I feel it is costly ( same as bell).
If someone has third provider experience, let me know.
How about phone service... which VOIP is better. Is it cheaper than 38 for Rogers + 10 % bundle discount. ( 34-35)
Tecksavvy is getting good internet review.... says $ 40 for 200 GB

trying to find real persons
I am with TekSavvy and I am signed up for 5mbps speed with 200G cap for 29.99.
I regularly get over 10 mbps after I switched from dryloop DSL.
