hi Cds.have alreay done my landing.planning to move in May next yr.nebody in the same boat as myself.also wud like to know hows the current job market since my hubby is a hardware professional and any specific state where oppurtunities are more.

You have more that Nine months to plan..

Dont worry at this point of time job market is very quiet.

just hang on" hamdan street "unitll this year end then you can plan by that time if you have kids they will finish their school year also.

he should try in Toronto only as most of the IT jobs are availble.

hey...that was vvvv quick...thanx neways.......yah its a long way off but the time wil jus fly as it were yday.....r un in CA..n wot abt hospital admin jobs coz i specialize in that field...yes i do hav a daughter who wil turn 3 in october....does it work 2 apply 4 jobs from here.....is there ne positive feedback for online vacancies if u try from here...thanx again..tc

you are right.. time fly's very quick..

to your Job search ? .. very big nooooooooooo..

You wont here any responce for outside applicants.. my own exp.

Looks any thing with Medical / Nursing / Hospital related lot of jobs here

provided that you have relavent exp and comunication skill with your field..
( I know Abu dhabi.. i lived there for 15 years ...need candadian exp )...

hope you will get some job quickly ....

Moving to canada from dubai
Hi we have been in Dubai from 10 years and between us my husband and I earn pretty well and have a good lifestyle. We have 2 kids in primary school. We are well settled here but want to move to Canada for better education for the kids and more family time. Maybe I would move with kids and Hubby would move after he gets a job here or a transfer. I have done my landing in 2009 and theplan is to move in 2011. But I am confused . Should I give up my comfy life here and move there just for a passport and better education. I am Indian pleAse advise

Moving to canada from dubai... ( it confirms)

Hi we have been in Dubai from 10 years and between us my husband and I earn pretty well (save those DHS as you need to conver them to CAD$)

to c and have a good lifestyle (life style...... ummm it wont be any much diffrent than Dubai).

We have 2 kids in primary school ( you will not pay any school fee).

We are well settled here but want to move to Canada for better education for the kids and more family time.
( I am not sure how well you can settle as every 3 years we need to renew your VISA in UAE)

Maybe I would move with kids and Hubby would move after he gets a job here or a transfer. ( not a bad plan... need bit of self confidence to stay)

I have done my landing in 2009 and the plan is to move in 2011.

But I am confused. ( me too)

Should I give up my comfy life here and move there just for a passport and better education. ( still i am asking my self same ? no answer my dear)

I am Indian pleAse advise ( we may end up a Canadian passport in pocket but we will die as Indian on heart....

Dont take any thing on heart.. this what i was also thinking when i moved for good from Abu dhabi to Toronto this year...

Yeah I guess our mind is pretty much made up...just nervous because not sure how life would be there. We love Dubai & basically all it has to offer, its just that our kids would have a better life if we move there or this is what I think.
Basically kids in Dubai are a confused lot, for them UAE is their home & they cant identify with India & all it has to offer. We are hoping that Canada would be a place that they could call home.....other wise I am pretty much happy here and would be in India too...
BTW please could you tell me if my electronics like TV (Ihave aSamsung LCD) and Mcrowave (Panasonic), mixie (Philips)would work there?

When did u move?
