How safe is taxi for kids ?

I have seen taxi drop kids from school to home....how safe is that ?

Must be allowed....

The taxi co. is registered with school board....

By safety I did not mean car seat safety...I meant...safe as to reach home rather than somewhere else.....

If they are registered with school board and have a valid permit for it - then there should be no problem.

School buses are more studier than the taxis.
