Yep, Chatr is rogers, so the quality is excellent.

Juts keep in mind their unlimited outgoing text is limited to 50 text / month, and voicemail retrieval is charged at 25c / minute.

If you sign up for autopay, they give you a credit of $60 which can be used for add-on services, like additional text and charges to retrieve voicemail.

According to the staff at the Chatr kiosk at STC, they did not sell only the SIM, so you had to buy a phone, but at Costco you can buy just the SIM. Mind you this was 6 months ago, so things may have changed.

Did you try the Telus option : $7.5 / month for one number unlimited .. others @ 20 c/m ..... Its a monthly add on Telus Prepaid .... So for 2 phones the usage will be $15/ month ... And I am hopeful that Telus is good in reception too ....

BTW , based on this thread , I brought a Windmobile phone yesterday with a topup for $10/- .. will try it now over the next 15 days ... if unsatisfied , my loss would still be $10/- ...

I brought a Windmobile phone ... I know of this friend who was last with Wind and now with Chattr and is using the Wind phone with Chattr after unlocking it .
