Sure if they dont want to sell that is fine .... but you have a problem if they sell it !!!! and that is the issue we are talking about here .
Just an FYI ... one of the largest meat product compnaies in Canada Maple Lodge sells halal products under Zabiha brand.
You excibited your lack of knowledge about Christian and Jewish faiths earlier .... so would like to enlighten you about something. The Jews only eat Kosher food .... this is available all across Canada in areas which has Jewish population. And the animals are slaughtered in similar way to halal food.
As for Christians ... two of the miracles performed by Christ were ..... converting water to wine and feeding 5000 people with five loafs of bread and two fish !!!!! So much for alcohol and meat !!!

Everyone has a right to ask a commercial institution to change their business practices according to their will.

ok let's get back to original purpose of this site, helping fellow indians, not forcing canadians tosell halal meat
qestion, which designing software you understand well ?
as per my experience most canadian industries use INVENTOR OR SOLID WORKS FOR 3D modeling and dwgs and AUTOCAD for basic drafting.
to get a quick and easily job in your field , you must know autocad and atleast one 3D SoFTWARE either autodesk-inventor or solid works.
these softwares are very easy and one can learn any softwares within 3 months.
i tried to find job myself but it was hard to find a job in my field coz i had no exp in 3D designing, but once i learned inventor and solid works in toronto, i got job immediately.
my suggestion, try to find job first as technologist as it's easy, once you 'll more familiar with our system then move forward to engg jobs.

I did some Autocad course way back in 90's when I was studying Engg. so its evaporated long time back and my brains must have shrunk for sure .... lol
I am more interested in a techno-commercial or an Engg. job profile but I am open to a decent job opening.
Keep me in mind if you come across something which might help.
