that is what this election is about.
that is the decision each of us has to make on 6th October.

How can you be so sure about the above in case of Conservatives ?

the same BC where the premier lost his seat because of the HST?
that shows you the power of people, and how they can revert the decisions made by stupid politicians and kick the same politicians out of office.
i don't know which report you read, but chances are it's by some international organization that doesn't live here and don't have to pay gas prices and food prices and hydro rates here.

And when there is blessings from Federal govt they will do whatever they want to...just giving the blank cheque to Conservatives.
you forget that it is this hated conservatives that gave us 2% reduction in GST.
it is this hated conservatives that gave us the TFSA account for tax savings.
and this hated conservatives have it in their plan to increase TFSA to $10,000 per year and to allow single income families to split income, just to give two examples of tax saving measures.

but for the 2% GST cut, you would have been paying 15% on everything under the HST instead of 13%.

but maybe you like paying more taxes.
maybe you relish the fact that your hard earned money is going into the pockets of unionized auto workers as cushy bonuses and pensions.
you like the fact that unionized public sector workers get 10% to 12% raises every time they threaten to strike.
and let's not forget how your hard earned money went into the pockets of high flying consultants billing for coffee, candy and orgy parties in Blue Mountain resorts.

i'm sorry I plan to vote against that.

It was conservative who introduces GST and then cut it by 2% - what a big deal

Who has extra money to put in TFSA account? People are struggling to pay bills, and conservative expects them to put money in TFSA....because it was conservative is party of elites and rich.

who spend $50M in Hunstville resort. Tony Clement......spend money like a drunkard sailor on his own constituency....$2Billion on G 20 summit.....for 20 people....

I am sorry, I will vote against white supremacy conservatives....

Anyway, tax spitting benefits the richest who earns more money than middle class.

1. 2% GST benefits common person, who does shopping
2. Understand that most haven't got extra money for TFSA, but whatever money they have will have no Tax implications if kept inside a TFSA.
3. The spending was not for G20 means 20 individuals, rather their representatives & delegates, & a whole bunch of people from every country. Also there were security issues which had to beefed up etc. etc.
For spending, common Liberals have spent far more than their fair share too (this is a unjustified issue)..

Canada is the best place in the world to do business at a time when US/UK/Europe all are faltering, because of the policies taken over the last couple of years..

Common people do not have enough money to spend on big tickets items or travel or entertainment....it is rich who gets most benefit out of GST cut. I call desi contractors to do work at my home to save HST. :)

So you are saying $2Billion was justified....for 500 people.

What is interest on GIC nowadays? Let see how much money is saved by putting in TFSA account.

If Hudak has an agenda - he will remove Ontario Health Tax and remove HST on essential items - then only he will get my vote. But his agenda is not close to it. He is talking more of reduction in government spending and will end up spending more to figure out where to cut (as Rob Ford did).

right, and they had to do so because of the out of control spending habits of previous liberal governments during the Pearson, Trudeau and Clark era.
Pearson, Trudeau and Clark ran a liberal regime for over 2 decades and nearly bankrupted Canada.
they were trying to compete with Lyndon Jhonson's "Great Society" plan down in the US.
do you know how much debt and deficit those 3 regimes had racked up during the 20 years of their rule?
learn your history and you will realize who is the drunken sailor here.

that is complete nonsense.
TFSA is open to everyone.
you can save even $1 there if you like.
however, if people don't have any money left for savings, it is thanks to the excessive taxation by the current administration.
it is because of high income taxes, HST, eco fee, hydro, health premium, etc that people don't have money left over.

ok, here is the fact about G20 :
the G20 summit was an excellent opportunity for Canada to showcase its success, natural neauty and economic stability.
back in 2009 when all countries were falling apart, we were relatively better off.
this was Canada's opportunity to showcase to the world what a stable society, busienss friendly environment we have.
please come here and invest in our country and invest in our businsses because we have a stable friendly tolerant society, clear and safe cities, and business friendly climate.
and just because of a few hundred good for nothing, vagabond, liberal idiots who had nothing better to do than protest, vandalize and destroy private property, that whole thing became an embarassment to our govt.

so what if we spend $2B on beautifying the resort area?
yes it might have been Tony Clement's riding, but that is where the foreign representatives were staying.
IMO, that $2B was money better spent.

perhaps you prefer govt. spend $1B on fake consultants, orgy parties in Blue Mountains and consultants that bill $20 coffees to the tax payers.

perhaps you prefer that we should protest attempts by our govt. to project our country as a safe, clean, business friendly place and smash shops, buses and police cars and make a mockery of our country.

you mean the rich like those on the Ontario Sunshine list?
those that have been fed and fattened by the McGuinty administration?
surely know that the sunshine list has grown by over 200% since McGuinty took over?

and branding current federal party as white supremacist is totally unfair.
why? just because they are giving priority to family immigration over parents' immigration?
I explained in a previous post what the truth is behind that.

Desibabu70 > Even if you have stated that you are not a Conservative agent but you have a good future as a propaganda agent for PC. You may want to consider it.
