Hi,
As the winter is its offings, one of the topic being discussed is the harsh winter and subsequently the topic revolves around warm places including Vancouver, Southern US state and Asia including Middle east.
If you're reading this post, and you were either a PR or citizen of Canada, moved out, please choose your new home...
I tried attaching a poll, I feel I have no clue how that could be done.
Thanks,
Jay.

Australia....Well, in fact, there is where I was planning to move in the first place. Proximity to India was the main reason for me to consider moving to Australia. Driving is the main issue for me during winters, I am OK with snow and cold, otherwise.

"The grass is not, in fact, always greener on the other side of the fence. Fences have nothing to do with it. The grass is greenest where it is watered. When crossing over fences, carry water with you and tend the grass wherever you may be"
If weather is not the reason, it wouldn't make much difference to you.
It costs more or less same for tickets for my friends in Australia to commute to India and the time is not very different if you compare your flight via Emirates / Jet / Etihad (20 hours, it is 14 hours for them).

Yes, it would be Australia for me as well - for the mere 'weather' reason and a great season throughout.
No Sirs, Australia is not that hot all year. It has a cloudy, windy weather as well for some part of the year, when they wear Jackets. At least they don't die of depression as we Canucks, and don't have to think twice to venture out in the Winters.
I have a few of my friends in Aussie land, and they love the weather - no widespread skin cancer, fyi.
I wish I could immigrate to Aus, but not possible now as my parents are going to join me. I have heard they don't have any parents sponsorship category. Guess what? Canada is catching up! So, for this reason alone, I would prefer to stay back in Vancouver HAPPILY.
Funny, someone above mentioned Vancouver. Although, it doesn't snow here, but rains like crazy. No Sun for the most part in Winters. Depressing at times.
Don't worry, the way Toronto weather is going each year, you guys at GTA will have a Melbourne like weather. Climate change is on your stride.
Have you ever lived in
South of France - Monaco, monte carlo, nice, Cannes ? ( Not Paris , its pathetic)
Spain - Barcelona ?
even Germany.
Geneva / Bern in Swiss ? thats the place to be.
Though I am still here in Canada with no plans to move out , still if there is option of immigration, I will consider South of France, Spain and Germany. If I was single I would have moved there already but my better half cares about english language and desi fraternity. I will prefer US more than Canada. btw, I love weather in Canada. (I confess my views and taste never matched with my desi pras and bens ! ). While Canada gives one flavor of life that too expensive, US and Europe gives options for numerous kind of flavors.
UK will be big no. I give zero to UK for all 3 Ws, weather included !
Australia takes my 50-50 vote. If that will be only option, I 'll go but still will try NZ first.
