Hi Ulkesh

I have just come to Canada with my family, its been 3 months since. Well it all depends on an individual. Let me explain....

First do you have freinds & relatives in Canada ? Its very important you have somebody known to give you a start, to find a house, job, school, transport....etc. At this time of the year I believe the weather is bearable too. Let me caution you its not easy to find your first job since they ask for canadian experience. Money flows like water. You will also get medical coverage after 3 months. If you have kids going to school, school begin in september, you have to register them now.

Its for you to make a decision, I would suggest you could come in first set up everything, it wud be easy on you and your family too.

Do let me know if you any doubts.

Dagma

Hi,
Bringing your family along with you will cost you more, but will give you a lot of moral support.
If you can live without them for a short time, and they can live without you too, then you can use the initial period for concentrating on your job hunt, and you will be able to find out shortcuts, and a suitable place to rent till they can be brought in.
If you can afford, Do bring them along with you.
I hope that makes it a bit easier...decision is still yours...we can just provide some baseline facts.

Hi,

I suggest you come alone with a 6 mth RETURN ticket. AT the end of 6 mths if you are well settled then of course you will get your family, IF NOT then you can always have the option of returning. I'm giving this advice because I have seen that many people come here and exhaust all their resources, get STUCK here and keep complaining about Canada for the rest of their lives.

Point is, if you come here with your family then your money gets spent much faster, believe me.
Because settling well in canada depends on the individual and there is no \\\"one size fits all\\\".

In short - keep your options open. And come with an OPEN mind.

That was a long advice:)

Bye .

Bombay_boy.

I suggest dont come yaar!! It is wastage there is no Career or Money...

I know u will be not happy with my comments but i have felt so and i m packing back now..No options left even after 2 years of struggle nothing achieved so far..

Good luck if u are coming and please dont bring your family along as you will not be feeling good to see all of your family in struggle..
