You may disagree strongly with someone, but let's not make it personal. If you don't feel India is your mother, that's you. If someone wants to feel that way, that's them, no need to start refering to their Dads.

And Kap, please don't use this gori chokri and desi chokri analogy, it sounds really silly. Maybe you didn't mean it in bad way, but honestly, it sounds very offensive to a lot of people who are proud of their "desi" wives, including me.

Its easy to cuss and subdue another perspective, let's take the higher road.

and its not disagreeing with someone... everyone is entitled to their opinions... what ticks me is when people start to get preachy, and then expect you to almost be ashamed that you say nice things about another country... almost as if you are/were any less indian than they are... or that they are better than you...

On a lighter note , , The Dad is only Germany as it is the only fatherland in the world and all others are Motherland . In practicality it is the good old USA which everyone listens to and fears .

Correct me if I am wrong here ?

wasnt intended for you... and it wasnt part of the original post... it was an afterthought... i figured its best to link to a definition than have some right wing nationalist start screaming at me because they didnt know what it meant and assumed it was something bad...

It is such a beautiful day outside . Enjoy and do not worry about this . Everybody has their own opinions based on their experiences and it is very difficult to change if any . So just let the discussion go it's normal way and it will balance out at some point ...
