The goods arrived safely except for one item but no big deal. We did not have to go anywhere as the Logistics company picked up the customs papers from our place and delivered the goods to our apprtment (door-to-door). No complaints

Few more Questions
Is it possible to ship a few bottles of liquor in your cargo? Do the freight forwarders allow this?
Also what about some packets of Indian spices , etc to help us get started initially - or do the Canadian Customs object to import of food stuff?
Are aerosol cans (body sprays) allowed to be carried in the cargo? or do the forwarders object as these are pressurised ?

We became PRs in 2003 from Qatar.

Freight forwarding from here is rather expensive so we have decided to leave/ sell everything except our cloths, books, Kitchen utensils and TV. Yes, TV ! I was told that TVs sold in ME are better. Any comments ?
