Right now it is -25C in Ottawa. Has come down by 1C since this morning. Times like this reminds me of Chennai.

It was -23C here in GTA this morning, and -33C with the windchill.

On this subject , lets share what is the worst winter experience we had.

My worst experience was -37C in Milwaukee, i was stuck outside my car with my jacket and keys locked inside ..... i had to wait for 10 minutes without a jacket till some help arrived. Those were the longest 10 minutes for me .

My worst was -35C (without windchill) in Minneapolis.
It was probably below -40C with the windchill.

I arrived there at 4 in the night after being stuck at the Chicago airport for over 6 hrs. in a snow storm of gigantic proportions.

I managed to get into a taxi right at the exit gate of the airport, so didn't feel much cold.
In the morning, I looked out of the hotel window and saw a Wal*Mart just across the street.
I decided to get some food and water there - big mistake.

As I stepped out of the hotel, I sank knee deep in snow.
It was so dry and cold outside that I couldn't breathe for a few minutes.
I started wheezing and the breath froze on my face.

That walk across the street seemed like swimming across the Pacific Ocean !
