Dear CD'S,
I recently got my Citizenship. I had a H1B in my Indian passport and worked for few months in US. If i want to go back to US on H1B with my Canadian passport do i need to go for visa stamping in US embassy? My H1B visa is valid for another 2 months only. Any advice will be appricated.
Thanks,
A16
Nope
Just go to the nearest POE (border) and they will stamp your passport and charge you 6 dollars for an I-94 (if the odl one expired) . Thats all

Thanks for your info. But in my Indian passport i had a visa? I've been working for my client on telecommuting. But now they need me for 2 months onsite to finish the project. Will they issue me a I-94 since my H1B will expire by end of march? What all the documents will they ask?
Thanks,
A16
Take your Indian passport with visa stamp , 797 and cdn passport to the border . They will do the needful

So as a Canadian you dont need a visa to enter US on TN and H1B? Thats very interesting. I know for TN you dont need a visa just offer letter and on H1B case your just need H1B approval notice. Hope i'm correct in this matter?
Thanks,

Yep
no visa but status yes which you get by getting the I-94 at the border

I hope some of the experts (like Dimple, Cdn-dude, Smiley, Pratick and others) can answer my question.
I have H1B visa stamp on Indian passport around 3-4 years ago. Then I became Canadian Citizen and travelled on Cdn passport and shown my H1B stamp on Indian passport to the officer at the airport and they stamped my Canadian passport with H1B stamp. This was around 3-4 years ago.
My company applied for extending the H1B visa (as it was expiring) few months ago and got the extension approval. My question is do I need H1B extension stamp on my Canadian possport from embassy or I will get it at port of entry.
I am still living in Canada and go to US sometimes. I forgot about stamping as thought that as a Canadian citizen I don't need physical visa stamp on the passport (from US embassy) but now confused as this is for extention not original H1B visa stamp.
