Hi All
Just a quick one to check if there are any UAEites applying for migration to Canada and also if any have succeeded.
My wife, son and I applied in June 2004, got our file number in 4 weeks and have been patiently waiting since then. Our consultant said that we should hear within a year and so we are hopeful.

Yes, there are a lot of members on this forum who have migrated from UAE, or have been once in UAE before migration.

welcome to CD .
It looks the processing time incresed these days from Gulf.
Becuase the number of applications are incresed by double
after the pass mark reduced for 67...
With my experience with your case you need to wait unit June -2005 for getting any responce if at all you send all your documents need for CIC to process your application along with IELTS results.
In my case after one year they responded me for sending IELTS test score to CIC. which i send already 8 month back( ihope they lost that result paper)

i applied in sept-04 & received file no i oct. in chc letter they mentioned that u will be contacted after 18 months due to lots of pending files ........
