Hi, I am on an H1B visa, working in the United States. I am given to understand that once I get a Canadian PR I would need to give up my H1B status , that I obtained with my Indian Passport, to work in the USA. Need your help to know if its true that within a year of getting the Canadian Pr, my H1B status ( obtained on an Indian Passport) would get dissolved.
Pls guide if this is true and how els I could apply for a Canadian PR without having to give up my H1B status . would it still be possible for me to continue working in the USA even after I get the Canadian PR. If yes, then for how long?
Thanks
Regards
vasu
Those questions will be easily asnwered by a US immigration attorney. Our advice is limited to Canadian immigration laws.
