So thats a law here? that people can have sex in schools where there is a condom machine? If there is no condom machine people cannot?

Im not saying Canadian systems are necessarily better than in India, but I want to comment on some of your above observations...ok?

Stable Law & Order-What law teaches you and your children to have SEX in the schools where there is a Condom Machine.

There isnt a law in regards to sex education in schools. However in this day and age of AIDS, STD's etc, "IF" someone gets into this situation, Schools want to ensure that one can protect themselves from these or unplanned pregnancies. Yes, it might not happen so frequently in the desi/indo canadian population, but dont kid yourself - pre-marital sex happens EVEN in India.

Quote:

Free High School Education -65% people wants their children to go to paid schools (private) and children over here go for fashion and not for studies and its the totally their choice in which school your child will go even if its inconveinent for parents.

Is this your own personal experience? Your two points do contradict themselves. If a student is in a private school, chances are higher that they will be wearing a uniform and cannot 'go for fashion'. Whose choice is it where the child goes to school? The city? The child ? please clarify.

Again i'll ask - is this your experience? Do you have to work shift work? Isnt it possible that things can change in the future. Having said that - "opportunity to spend time with family"..how is that a canadian trait anyways?

Thats not true. I grew up in Manitoba..and we got plenty of snow. If you find it hard/awful then it will be hard/awful. Children generally enjoy playing in snow. Its fun (in small doses). Many people enjoy skiing which you can do in winter..including tobagganing, ice skating. There will be a lot of activites organized for families to do outdoors. Check your local community leisure guide.

Yes u r right people come here for a variety of different reasons but when they see theor children dying they hate this country.

When do you plan to go back? Have you secured employment already?

If you have made definite plans to return back to India then good for you. You ought to be happier and planning your return. I dont see the reason you still harbour a lot of anger (now that you've planned a more positive step for your future I mean).

Also: What is true for you, may not be true for the next person. If you teach your children what you expect from them (behavior wise etc) then regardless of how 'permissive' their environment is, they will be able to decide for themselves how to conduct their behavior.

Have faith !

Who are you trying to kid? Delhi's roads have so much garbage that if the Indian Govt. ever became serious, they could give Canadian Garbage exporters a run for their money.

I'm not trying to defend any moral edicts here, just stating the difference between the Canadian Law enforcement and India's lack of it :D

Actually the choice is the parent's. Now if they bow to every whim of their kids, that's their problem, not Canada's. By the way, Indian schools are still more expensive by all means (by the time you factor in the "Donations" and the never ending "contributions";)

I'm not going to comment much on this one as I fully recognize the difficulties some parents have to go through here, supporting kids and all. However, here atleast the word "time off" means something, unlike India where you are obligated to work on days off, just to kiss your boss's butt.

There is plenty to do "indoors" 7 months a year. Maybe if you take the "I hate Canada" blinders off, you'll see what I am refering to.

Seems to me most people who have come to Canada from India are unhappy....but what do you expect? Do you think that by coming here that Canada will somehow save you? That you are coming to some sort of paradise where you get everything you need? Do you expect that life will automatically be better here? And when this doesn't happen, you give up, saying that Canada is a bad place to live. Well too sad for you, because unless you are willing to work hard, adapt to the culture you are now living in, and thank your lucky stars that you have a roof over your head and food on your table, then you will be dissapointed.

You can't expect it all to fall into your lap....a good life in a country like this comes from hard work, good education, an optimistic attitude and a little bit of luck. Don't trash the country because things don't go your way or it doesn't live up to your unrealistic standards of what you think life here in Canada should be.

I know what u mean ..

Ok if they are educating children then they are encourging childern also to have sex any time with any one they can just educate them.I agree even in India children are not behind but just imagine if govt puts the machine over there then the rate will be so high becoz over there children have still some kind of eye shame they won't get pregnant so easilyor have sex so easily.

Free High School Education-Its the school's own choice .And you tell me how many go children go for studies and thats the reason our comunity children don't like to go and stay in India for a longer period becoz there they lose this Sex freedom .

The opportunity to spend time with your family-No we were very lucky that we both got the jobs in our own field and we come at the same time nothing like night shifts But I have seen so many couples who die to sit together and talk for sometime but NO they have to do such jobs

how is that a canadian trait anyways?Yes it is becoz when people don't get jobs in their own field or they don't get any other job they have to do ODD jobs at odd timings .

And people who doesn't like snow at all and who doeasn't have any relatives and limited friends...Even in my office goras get very bored and says oh we have sit at home and thats all,no entertainment at all

Yes we have jobs in our hands and we are just waiting for our house to sell.

And I have to tell you the anger which I have is not only for me and my family but it for all the people who come here with great dreams and have to just live hand to mouth and who suffer and don't have any option to go back I'm concerned for them ....

Kids who are gonna have sex are...guess what???? ....gonna have sex. Nothing you or I can do about that. When I was in school, (a long time ago now..) we had sex-ed....and no condom machines.....but girls still got pregnant. And if you mean to say that kids in India have more "modesty" than desi kids here...then I guess you haven't seen the latest music videos coming out of India....

I grew up in the UK, my mum worked for Fords, doing 2 weeks nights, 2 weeks days. My dad had a 9-5 job. You do what you gotta do for your family and kids...if that's your job, you make it work and if it doesn't work, you find another job that does fit in with your family life. My dad and us kids were extremely supportive of my mum working these shifts, we all pulled our weight and having that weekend time/evening time when mum was at home made it all the more special "family time" And no....it doesn't just happen in Canada....

And people who doesn't like snow at all and who doeasn't have any relatives and limited friends...Even in my office goras get very bored and says oh we have sit at home and thats all,no entertainment at all

Well get off your backsides and do something....nobody is going to hold your hand and say, "come with me, I'll make your life more interesting for you" Canada has so much to offer. You have to WANT to do stuff. Get out and about, that's how you meet people, make friends etc. Before you know it, guess what, you have a social life on your hands..

Yes we have jobs in our hands and we are just waiting for our house to sell.
And I have to tell you the anger which I have is not only for me and my family but it for all the people who come here with great dreams and have to just live hand to mouth and who suffer and don't have any option to go back I'm concerned for them ....

Well you're concern is touching....and thank you for posting all your opinions because it has really made me open my eyes and see exactly what I have in life here in Canada, and it's a great deal in my opinion. I guess you get out of life what you put in.....
