Currently my friends had a very bad experince with comwave.One of the desi lady ( a tele rep) offer him Long distance plan for 7.9 cent..and told him no monthly charges or fees...Unfortunately he provide his credit card for pre -autho payment.When he recive his statement company charged him monthly fees 2.21$.although It is small amount they didn't honour their commitment.he called customer service twice to cancel the service they say we can't cancel your service ,our cancelation department call you in 24-48 hours after 3-4 days he didn't recive any call from them.
My point for writing this is to highlight how this company are working and warn CD members to give Credit card info like this. If anybody has similar experience they can share so we benefit from thier experience.
Comwave does have a monthly fee. Telemarketing reps are hard pressed for making sales, so they could give misleading info.
Usually telemarketing calls are displayed as "unknown name or private," I do not know how people have so much faith to sign up with them and give their credit card info.
Sometimes you have to be persistent with these companies. If they have not called your friend in 48 hours as they stated, he should call again to the company to cancel.
