Guys , Finally I have a reply from CHC , New Delhi and it is as below :
Permanent Residents of Canada are required to reside in Canada for two years in each five year period.
Anyone holding a valid PR Card issued to them is in possession of a status document that will allow them to travel to Canada. No application for a travel document or residency determination at this office is either necessary or possible in such cases. However, you may be required to account for your failure to meet the residency obligation when you renew your permanent residency status in Canada.
Please see our website for more details on returning to Canada as a permanent resident: http://geo.international.gc.ca/asia/new-delhi/site/permrescard-en.asp
Do you have any comments here ??

At least one thing is clear from the response that the residency obligation verification happens only at the time of renewal of PR status (which for me is Dec 6, 2009). So hopefully a smooth journey back to Canada at least this time !!

why dont u download the travel document forms, fill them up and send to CHC Delhi ? You never know they may approve your reasons and allow you to go back even though u dont meet residency obligation
My Question is, if I can not complete 730 days before the expiry of 5 years period, can I delay the renewal of PR card until I complete 730 days in Canada?
