Good day,
Can you please advise what is the validity of the Travel Document issued in absence of PR card? If it is long enough (e.g. 1 year from date of issue) then it will be easier to plan the visit.
Also, how long does the consulate take to issue travel document from the date of application?

People who were just on the verge, received their entry permit with a validity till the date of their expiry of their 3 year period.

The time taken to issue a Travel Document could vary from location to location. So, you will have to call and see like the others did to get that information from the Embassy that is close to your location. Again, see the thread.
If you are trying to time the departure, to a period that will suit you, to leave your place of residence, then ask them the same question and get a response from them and then apply afterwards to suit your departure timing.
