No update as yet from CIC, still waiting for any feedback... meanwhile a question just popped up my mind... the status on the website says decision made... hence was wondering how does this work... does this message arrive after the interview on in the final stage after visas are asked for stamping etc... just trying to get some cues.... Would help if you guys could share your two cents on this bit...

Status of Decision Made can imply any form of decision, for example, decision regarding interview, decision on medicals, final decision, etc.
Also it can either be positive or negative decision.
You have to wait for the letter from CHC to know exactly what type of decision it is.

Hmm so the decision made status appears anytime, I was under the impression that this status appears only on the final juncture as in when the final decision is made...

I think you are right (at least in my case).

In my case, the status changed to 'Decision made' only at the very final stage (when decision on approval of my case was made).

During all the other phases, it was always 'in process' or something like that.

In my case (that was a few years ago, though), the status changed from In Process to Decision Made and back again a couple of times.
I believe it may vary from CHC to CHC as to how often they update the central CIC system.
I have heard of folks in whose case the status showed Decision Made several times - interview waived/passed, background check completed, medicals approved, final decision made, etc.
They do not inform us by letter for every step in the process - only when something is needed from the applicant.

So this means that this Decision Made is either intermediate or final decision... so the wait still goes on :-(
