The market is better now and 2 or 3 companies in the GTA are hiring SAP people. Having said that it all boild down to your personality, english skills, network and luck. So I canot say concretely that you will get a job. If you are skilled person you may get a job offer, but not before 6 months to a year.
Better to come on deputation from TCS, get another job in Canada and run away from TCS .
Peace

Why do I feel that you just want to discuss an age old problem of this board without actually wanting to live in Canada?

Manty,

I went through the same questions 4 years ago.. I decided i will give 6 months to find a job and if not will move back.

Came to canada in 2006 with only 15 days left for PR to expire and lose if forever, yes the economy was booming then. Got a job in 1 month and have not looked back since..

I think the IT job market is back and i see lot of people switching jobs..

Your first recourse is to ask a relocation through IBM. IBM has a plenty of projects here. If not then move to canada for 6 months and if things dont workout move back and finding job in india is not the most difficult thing.

Hello,

Thanks for responding.
Ya IBM might help me for relocation.
and at this point i am thinking to relocate only to avoid PR expiration.
Though my PR would expire in 2012, but i need satisfy that 2 years stay in canada requirement, so for that i might need to move way before that.

Can you please tell me that did u move to canada just before PR expiry or you were already living in Canada ?
