I am sure the above list is non-existent in India.

When your children grow up, they will get married and stay separately and once in a year, they will come with Turkey and say Thank you for being their parents.

Don't be afraid, it is all part and parcel of life.

I'd be glad if that happens. In my case, my parents see their son once every 4 to 8 years :)

I am a 25 year old father with a lovely 1 month daughter, currently working as Software engineer at trivandrum,Kerala,India. For some time now , I have been pondering over the question of migration to Uk,AUS or Canada simply because to get a better life style , job and education for my kid. Financial gains also included. But the risk of investing so much money (around 10 laks INR) is also holding me back.

I consider adaptability as one of the critical factors among many that would dictate your success or failure. Since you are so young, if you are open to new and different features of the new country, you are most likely to succeed. Also, your young age allows you to perhaps to be more resilient at the initial difficulties for about 3 to 5 years. Plus, you wouldn't lose much time as opposed to someone immigrating in their 40s or later.

But again, at the end of the day, it is you who has to decide. Life is not rosy here. It contains all of the mundane things you will have to do and spend money on. So, arm yourself with facts and brace yourself with realistic expectations.

Pardon my ignorance guys but I fail to understand what factor stop people to stay back here after such a harsh life ? . One of my friend stayed back because his kids were too grown up and may not adjust in Indian schools .
What else I am unable to understand that since we all migrated from somewhere else to come here and when we dont find what we expected than why cant we just move ahead and remigrate ??
Pls share your views

Reason is simple.
Canada (for most people) requires you to bring almost all of your life savings and try to settle down with that and start a new life from the scratch. By the time you know what is coming, all your savings are gone and you end up in dead beat jobs. For some, they gradually pull out and for some they are stuck in it. Canada does not even have a welcoming station at the airport (atleast not when I landed) and then you are cheated at every stage.
It is not like other countries where you are given free flight ticket, then taken to your residence. Once you report for the office the next day, some one takes you to finish all the formalities. You get a car on the second day at the office (or when you get your license). You spend 10% of your salary and save the rest of 90 %. Once you complete a year or 2, you are given salary paid, flight ticket paid vacation.
Hope this helps
Peace by TK

plenty of proof including the above about Homosexuality in India. It is neither an enemy, nor a disease.

Nothing wrong with living separately from your parents.
