I have visited toronto last year on business/visitor visa, I lived here for six month and worked on cash basis, my employer was ready to provide me all the papers to get the work permit, but i had not much time, so I came back.
Now got Business/visitor visa again, Again my employer is ready to provide me all paperwork. so what is the process and how long time it will take.
Thanks
Mahesh
You need to get positive labor Market Opinion (LMO issued by HRDC) from your employer to get a work permit.
LMO process may take around two months and Work Permit takes 50 days.
thanks for reply, can i apply for work permit in canada, becoz i am coming to canada on business/visitor visa, will they give me work permit in canada or i have to go back to my home country or any other country??????
should i hire a lawyer??
Yes... I feel and recommend you should definitely hire a lawyer… actually an expert lawyer who will personally assist you in this case and will guide you throughout the whole procedure, will prevent you from committing small-small mistakes.
