On route to Delhi I have a layover in Paris for 6 days Dec 30 to Jan 4. I am booked to stay in hotel Atlanta Frochot located near Pigalle metro station. We have purchased four day Paris pass and booked shuttle from airport to hotel. I am travelling alone and am 50 years old. No fixed agenda.
Any suggestions for these 6 days are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Let me tell you from my experience.
Paris is very costly and good chance that they may swindle you.
1. use metro or bus only.
2. Do money change in Canada and have coins of Euro. You need Euro coins to use the washroom and conversion in Paris is a swindle.
3. Do not order anything from the hotel. It will cost you an arm and a leg. Always use trusted restaurants like MaCD and all.
4. Entrance fee and all is standard. Nothing much that we can do about that.,
5. Keep clear of the Africans who will try to sell your souveneirs.

All the best.

Since your hotel is at Pigalle;note this information : Pigalle is famous for being a tourist district, with many sex shops, theaters and adult shows on Place Pigalle and the main boulevards. The neighborhood's raunchy reputation led to its World War II nickname of "Pig Alley" by Allied soldiers. The Divan du Monde and the Moulin Rouge, a world-famous cabaret, are both located in Pigalle.
