I have a valid G2 licence in Ontario for over 2 years.
I am visiting Vancouver and would like to know if I can rent a car in Vancouver with my Ontario G2 licence. If yes, which rental companies give car on rental.
Are there any other restrictions on driving or different traffic rules in Vancouver.

When you ask a very nice question like that, I cannot refuse an answer to you. You must have just got out of the school and also got a G2 Licence after hard work. So, try and hold on to it like dear life. You have a LONG Way to go.

Most of the RENTAL Companies will ask for a G, but I have seen KIDS with G2 also rent one and SO, please call and ask them. Enterprise will be my first choice. If you are not in any Insurance POLICY here in Ontario, Please get FULL COVERAGE for your driving. They will also need a GOOD Credit Card before you book one.

It does not matter where you are driving. Do not use any ELECTRONIC devices and switch them off. Pay attention to the traffic and then be cautious like always. Park where it is free like a MALL Location. Street Parking is tricky some times and you got to read a lot of the sign boards. But they are under $3.00/Hr. AVOID HWY 99 North. Avoid Rush Hours, 8-10 in the morning and 3-30 to 6-30 in the evening.

Follow the road signs and plan your route well before taking it. A GPS will come handy. Since it is on your phone, I will avoid it. But some of the High end rentals come with a screen and see if you will need it. The choice is yours.
