Looks like Form 33 on this link:

http://incometaxdelhi.nic.in/forms/welcome1.htm

But is it still required to be carried?

Hi,
Nowadays there are 2 type of PCC. PCC from Police HQ and PCC from passport office.
PCC from police HQ takes atleast 15 days so it is very difficult if not impossible to have a 7day old PCC. PCC from passport office costs 300 rupees and takes 3 days but passport office says it is valid for 6 months. I am hoping that if my tickets get confirmed i can take 9 sep flight from Mumbai and land in toronto on sep 10. Thanks to this post i found out i need form 30c apart from this what other document can the pandu ask me at the airport. Want to be prepared as much as i can and dont want to pay the pandus $50 of my hard earned money.

Thanks,
Chittesh

Hi Chittesh,

Look at the link I have given above.
I could not find any form 30C.
It seems like form 33 is the correct form.
However if you know anything better, please post it on CD also.

Also note down name of the person asking for money, counter number and shift, that is, time and date. You can then write to his department about the incident from Canada.

In atleast 90% cases there is an action taken on any such complaint.

Best wishes for landing.

:)

Hi Chittesh,

Also see Form 34 on this link.

http://incometaxdelhi.nic.in/pdf/form34A.pdf

Exemption from Income Tax Clearance Certificate under section 230A(1) is also another Income Tax Clearance Cetificate in form 34.

So you are exempted from filing an Income Tax Clearance Certificate in Form 33 under section 230A(1) if you file Income Tax Clearance Certificate in Form 34. Simple.

It gets better and better each time. :D
