Furnished rooms for rent are not common. London being a small place, it is even less likely that you will find one there. In anycase, what has been your modus operandi when you say you have been "looking"?? Have you been able to get the local newspaper of the place? Guess that's where you're most likely to find one if any are available!
Just curious - why do you want a furnished room anyway? Are you looking for a short term temporary stay, in which case you could also think of getting an unfurnished room and getting furniture on rent.
