All the rich people in the Toronto area live in "Brampton".

In Vancouver all of West Vancouver is Posh and the rich live there. Staying there carries snob value.

Everybody is beatin' ' bout the bush and ain't answerin' yer question from the hip.
Plenty of areas where the rich and elite live. Lakeshore Blvd is one of them. Then there is Oakville and Yorkville and plenty of others.
Only thing is there are not so rich and elite living alongside them in homes that are not recognizable from those of the rich and elite. Unlike Mumbai where if you say Cuffe Parade( I am using that as an example only but there are plenty such areas), there are apartments worth crores of rupees and then there are the machhi maars living in shacks and chawls right in front. Also in Cuffe parade there are people who have bought flats many years ago when the cost was in lakhs and now worth crores. However the owners still make money in lakhs which is good for day to day living but not for elite living and they stay alongside the rich and famous.
But the scene in Canada is different from Mumbai. Much much different.
Anyway 'tis best you check it out fer yerself.The rich and elite here frequent the same pubs that the normal janes and joes do and wear tattered jeans etc etc. They are also part of the same golf clubs. The whole scene is different from India or even S'pore, HK or the Far-East.
Anyway, the bottomline is that the rich and elite live in various areas like Mumbai. You can pick and choose.

hey if ur talkin abt the area which has the most expensive houses its definitely Rosedale in toronto where houses are usually worth around 4 million but can go a lot higher than that

I don't know if people give answers or not. I have asked several times of Garvo to please tell us where success stories are posted, but still no answer. People have asked him for the experiences on a Ukranian airline , he didn't answer. I have asked him for investment vehicles where one can earn 25% as he claims and no answer.
I believe one of the tasks of a moderator is to nudge people to answer questions asked of them as it is completely rude to leave them unanswered. Once again you have flunked in that department, BL

Mr Garvo, I am given to understand you are one of the originators of this site or at least one of the real senior members. Not to answer questions posed to you sets a bad example.
Please note that I think this site is a real good site and I am only giving suggestions to make it a better site and to make people realise that those coming on this site are responsible folks. If you do not have an answer, please say so, but do not leave the subject in the air and hope it will die out with time. That is not the attitude to be adopted. Perhaps at times one is busy and cannot reply immediately, but I have noticed that several times people pose questions and they go unheeded. That is definitely not a good sign.
I am sure there are many who will agree with me.
BL, most of the time you do bring moderation to a heated discussion. I am just giving you pointers on how to improve. If you have any for me let me know. I always love to improve myself and even if you are no Zig Ziglar nor Dr. Johnson, nor Shiv Khera,comments are always welcome.
