Cren ,

W/O going into much debate now (leave it 2 the readers 2 decide)

for the specifics

>50% of H1B s were indeed lapped by Indians.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Black money is excluded in any kind of survey u ve stated .hence the findings r bound 2 b misplaced . Actual levels may b much higher .
-----------------------------------------------------------------
USD 600is per capita and may mean 80% of Indians . But not ALL ---- I wish u stated how many Indians wudnt b able 2 produce 7.5 lacs ??? in numbers ----- Look @ Chandresh / Windsor and Deep s comments in addition 2 mine .
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The whole scenario changes when u find the top bracket Indians (10 to 15% who are well educated , professionals and the best of Indians (yet the average in their own class) reach Canada and land up amongst the lowest rung of Canadians doing menial jobs !!! Thats a paradox !! . Unlike South of the border .
--------------------------------------------------------------

Kindly reserve any presumptions abt me or for that reason any1 else . I see an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY in India as well as the Middle East. Else I wud ve been in Canada by now .

As per me I have learnt the reality that jobs are definitely nt waiting for me despite my qualifications and expereince and I might have 2 decide an entrepreneurial route in which I m ready 2 pump CAD 100 000 plus . But thats me and most immigrants dont have that amount .

Manasvi .

Do you have a web link from the USCIS to support that?

Why? Do the 80% of people who earn less than $2 per day earn black money?!!

This topic only arose because you said 15%. You put in a number that didn’t make sense, therefore I provided a rebuttal and we’ve gone on for several pages about this.

I’ve already provided rebuttals to all of these comments.

1. You are mistaken if you suggest that only people who come to Canada are average professionals who are ‘going nowhere’ in their careers. That may reflect your perception of your own skills and capabilities, certainly does not reflect ALL professionals.
2. ALL professionals who come to Canada do not land up doing menial jobs. In the past you tried to put a percentage to this (by saying that 80% of professionals work at Tim Horton’s)………we’ve already had a good deal of discussion on that, you couldn’t stick to the number!
3. Any process of immigration is fraught with risk. Earlier this week, you provided a link to an HSMP discussion forum, you will find lots of highly educated professionals complaining there too, saying that they cannot find jobs!

The US is a totally different process (lots of people who have worked in the US do not apply for immigration there, but rather chose to come to Canada). The length of time that an immigrant application takes is not really comparable with Canada. There too, if you search the internet, you will find many sob stories of immigrants.

Well, you said that consultant-misportrayed-dreams crash within the first month of landing. Yet, despite having landed once here in Canada, you are still planning to return. If ‘consultant-misportrayed-dreams’ had crashed, 80% of professionals in Canada work at Tim Horton’s etc, you would not be planning to come here in the future.

Despite your qualifications and experience, hmm……Are those qualifications and experience as an ‘average professional who has nowhere else to go’?

Good for you! Just so you know however, CAD 100k does not amount to much here in Canada!

And since you talk to much about India and its ‘great’ business prospects, don’t you think it might make more sense for you to go and invest that money in India? After all, a few posts above, you talked about 40 million Indians who have incomes of $600k pa and 110 million Indians who have incomes of $20k pa.

Just wondering as to you motivation to still come to Canada. Since you’ve talked so negatively about Canada all this while, you should really explain for the benefit of all of us readers as to the reasons for you to still consider coming here.

Lets see Kap. Crenshaw is quite muted in his responses nowadays. You go and call him foolish. What do you expect in return?

Nice to see your reaction, Kap. :D

In the past too, its been primarily posts like yours that I’ve chosen to respond to in a harsh manner.

Little change of tack here though:

How do you presume that all I know of India is Dharavi? How do you support that presumption?

Also do brush up on your comprehension skills, there was no comparison being made between India and Canada on this post!
