One of my friends said that if i want to drive in monteral first i have to clear written test then i have to wait for one year to learn driving after that only i will road test then only will get license .Is that really true ??????????????? .Any information please

if suppose we don't know driving and we don't have the drivers license in home country then what is the procedure for getting the drivers license in monetral.

your friend's got it right.

heres info from the SAAQ website.

"A learner's licence is valid for eighteen months, although it is possible to take a road test after 12 months (or 8 months if the holder has successfully completed a practical course with an accredited driving school)."

Is the procedure is same as in other states like ontaria,Alberta for new drivers .If they don't have any drivers license in their home country.
