Yes that will do. We did the same thing. When my wife landed she had my old apt address on her COPR and she forgot to change at the port of entry. We just changed the address today. I suggest you to change by calling immigration agent at call centre in canada. Let me know if you need any more info

ok thats cool thanks....let her give the old address...after 2-3 days ill call cic call centre and change it and then they can mail me the pr card on my new address..

one more thing...was your wife asked anything by the immigration officer? can you tell me her process once she landed...

Nothing unusual. general stuff and everything was done in 10 to 15 min. But on the safe side my wife had all th info about me ( my address, where I work, my PR client ID, passport copy etc.

My wife received her passport requesition letter last month but the officer has asked to submit an other POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE.We applied the for the certificate last month and she received it just today(they took lots of time ) and my wife went to BLUE DART courier office immediately and she couriered it.They said it will reach by tomm afternoon.My question is my wife just wrote \"FROM and TO address\" on the envelop which she used to post the required documents and she dint write her file number on the top of the envelop near FROM and TO address...Is that okay????She wrote a covering letter to the officer on whch she mentioned her file number on that letter and she also attached the passport ,police verification requesition letter along with the covering letter and passport.Can anyone pass on there opinions and comments???

My wife dint get any SEPERATE letter from CIC for PCC.They asked for the PCC in the passport requesition letter itself.We took PCC from Indian Embassy,TORONTO,CANADA when my wife came here to canada on visitor visa.She just left couple of months back to india..But the officer mentioned in the passport requesition letter that PCC FROM INIDAN EMBASSY/REGINAL PASSPORT OFFICE is accepted only if the passport is jus 6months old.And my wife got her passport in 2003...So my wife reapplied for a new PCC on 12th june or like that andshe got it on july20th.It nearly toook more than amonth for her to get the PCC :-(.We jus played waiting game thats it.....the passport requesition letter also stated that these documents should reach them within 60days from the date ofletteR and the date on the letter was june2nd and we couriered the document with passport before 60days.

Yes i just logged on and congrtulate YOU and want to confirm that CIC officer at the airport do ask to wife and at that time you can update the address.

These days they are also providing kit for Social and Health Card applications.
So dont forget to keep all local offices address and time update in when your wife is here.
