Hi Trinty,

Just wondering if your parents have any dependents on the application. In my understanding the background check for depdendents (young persons) takes more time and may delay the processing a bit.

Nevertheless the next milestone for you should be 8months (as per the timelines posted on CIC website). Hopefully, you should receive something within a month.

No dependents on our application so hopefully should get the medical request soon. Have you too applied, if yes what are your time lines?

Hello Ecom:

No new updates from my side. Looks like it takes about 7 months from the time parents submit the application to CHC, New Delhi and they start processing till parents receive the medical request. We are waiting for the medical request at the moment.

6 months 3 weeks Processing Started in New Delhi. No new Updates on my Side and I have Two Dependents my Brother and Sister in my case

Just got an update. My parents submitted an application to CHC New Delhi on March 13, 2008. Acknowledgment receipt was received yesterday however, when I checked online status; it showed processing was started on April 02, 2008.

This is just to let you guys know. I am wondering any one of you may share update on your files?
